Rue Denoyez Mural

I've always loved the rue Denoyez for its bombed-out, squalid charm, but now it's been officially beautified, albeit with a grafitti mural that just makes it look cooler.  This was filmed during Belleville's art crawl weekend (never mind that I refer to it as 'Paris' open studio doors whatever', it was just part of Paris).  The street was closed and everybody was making art of some sort, even if that art consisted of just sitting around drinking pastis.  You should go and see this (up the rue de Belleville, turn right after Aux Folies café).  While you're there, check out that massive empty lot up the street, because they're going to turn it into a public pool soon and it'll be gone forever.
